Job Description:

Project Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing large-scale construction projects such as highways, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure developments.Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction activities from project inception to completion.
• Design and Engineering: Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure project designs are feasible and meet regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
• Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Site Supervision: Monitor on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address potential issues or risks that may impact project timelines or budgets.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction projects.
• Skills: Proficiency in project management software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Primarily field-based, requiring regular site visits and inspections.
• May involve working in various weather conditions and environments.This role is crucial for ensuring that heavy civil projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
