Bishop & Company is recruiting a Systems Analyst - Servers for our financial industry client. Join our client's team at one of Hawaii's Best Places to Work. The position is a direct hire role with hybrid work flexibility.

No 1099 or C2C offered. Candidates must reside on Oahu by time of hire. No relocation assistance.

The Systems Analyst will provide production support within the IT Infrastructure Department's Server team. Duties include assisting in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps for server administration and infrastructure management, including physical servers, virtual hosts, and backup systems. Support systems and applications this role may support include, but are not limited to, email, virtual desktops, networks, cloud computing, backup solutions, and security. This position will also lead and coordinate work with other IT teams and mentor team members.

Required Qualifications:
Possesses over five years of experience in the management and support of server and storage systems.
Brings seven years of experience in the Information Technology sector, with a focus on the support and maintenance of infrastructure and applications.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or possesses an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Ability to work on-site 2-3 times per week.


Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex server hardware and operating systems.
In-depth knowledge of systems administration and data management.
Skilled in implementing process improvements through automation.
Proficient with system monitoring tools.
Demonstrated initiative and capability to work with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with legal and technical issues related to vendor contract negotiations.
Experience in leadership and team mentoring.
Proven ability to manage projects effectively.
Working knowledge of information security and its relationship to infrastructure management.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management and end-users.
Extensive experience with virtualization solutions.
Working knowledge of infrastructure components, including hardware and security tools.
Relevant certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or similar organizations.

Salary: $90,000 - $112,000
Direct hire
Hybrid - 2 to 3 days in office (Dillingham area)
