Enterprise Architect - DoDAFat SMX(View all jobs) (https://www.smxtech.com/careers/)Aiea, HISMX is seeking a DoDAF Architect to support USINDOPACOM J6 portfolio of programs. This position is onsite Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corps Base in Hawaii.This position requires a DoD security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI which requires US citizenship.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage and monitor tasks as directed from the J6 and designeesCreate and publish DoDAF Architectural Artifacts in coordination with other INDOPACOM Enterprise and Systems ArchitectsCollaborate with other DoD CIO, Joint Staff, DISA, Component/Joint Commands, other INDOPACOM Directorates, NSA and other Federal agencies as required to design, catalog, depict and publish INDOPACOM Enterprise Architecture (EA) using DoDAF methodologyUnderstand and follow the DoDAF, CJADC2 and other key DoD/Joint architecture planning instructionsCapture the current, "as-is" architecture for INDOPACOM information networks and associated data centers by developing logical and physical maps to facilitate effective lifecycle managementProvide technical experience to coordinate activities to ensure stakeholders are aligned to meet J6 goalsReview and assess the impact of DoD, Military Service, Joint, DISA, or IC proposed capability architectures or architecture guidance on the INDOPACOM EAPrepare mature products for dissemination at high level briefsAssist with knowledge management of overall division projects and strategy to ensure cohesion of effortEstablish effective communication with internal and external stakeholdersUp to 25% travelRequired Skills & ExperienceActive TS/SCI clearanceBS/BA from an accredited college or university in an engineering or relevant technical discipline OR Associate's Degree and additional experience in relevant field may be substituted for a BS/BACertification in, or significant familiarity with the DoDAF Architectural FrameworkMinimum of 8 years of experience in an Enterprise Architecture role, or relevant Systems/Solutions Architecture, Network Design or similar positionsAbility to complete tasks within required timeframes with no supervisionExpert at use of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio and ProjectExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to changeDesired Skills & ExperienceFEAC Institute Certification (CEAP Yellow Belt, ACEA Green, CEA Black Belt)Experience with USINDOPACOMIntra-agency or joint command experienceIAT Level II/IAM Level I certification (i.e. Security+ CE)Application Deadline: November 29, 2024#LI-AP1 #CJPOSTThe SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
