Bishop & Company is seeking an immediate Accounts Payable Specialist. Ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounts payable experience and be available to start ASAP!


Job Responsibilities Review supporting documents, process/verify posted invoices and check requests daily
Partner with internal team members and vendors to obtain form W-9/W-8 and GET information
Schedule on demand checks, electronic payments, check run and virtual payments
Perform Invoice/PO match in Oracle system, resolve PO discrepancies and validate invoices before month-end close
Date stamp all invoices and check requests, sort invoices, distribute daily mail, answer Accounts Payable hotline, review GL accounts and enter accounts payable data
Reconcile accrual accounts, vendor statements and all vendor refund checks monthly
Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies and issue stop payments as needed


Required Qualifications High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years of accounts payable work experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel


Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
Oracle system knowledge


Additional Information Location: Honolulu 96819
Duration: 2 months with possible extension
Pay rate: $20-$24/hr DOE
