Bishop & Company is recruiting for a highly organized and detail-oriented Preservation Projects Coordinator with our non-profit client located in Honolulu, HI. Preservation Projects Coordinator #21786

About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and reporting for various projects, as well as contributing to impactful communications, outreach, and engagement programs. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for non-profit work and program management, including development, planning, execution, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:
Organize, facilitate and implement effective programs
Plan, implement, and develop reports on multiple programs
Prepare materials for Request for Proposals
Ensure program compliance with appropriate state and county regulations and statutes
Facilitate, track and support grants provided to other programs
Reconcile financial records
Organizing awards events including scheduling, budgeting, soliciting and managing nominations, data management, event logistics
Contribute to communications, outreach and public engagement programs
Respond to phone and email inquiries

Requirements: Previous experience in program development and management including budgets, financial reports, monitor progress and results, and provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of programs
Strong technical proficiency in a Windows platform
Knowledge in historic preservation, cultural resource management, architectural history
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in historical preservation, archaeology, business administration, engineering, architecture, or similar disciplines
Driver's license and ability to travel for work.



Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Schedule: 20-40 hours/week, Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pay: $28/hr
Location: Iwilei
