Bishop & Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator with a strong focus on workers' compensation, general liability management, and OSHA compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring workplace safety, handling workers' compensation claims, filing general liability documents, maintaining OSHA 300 logs, and serving as the main point of contact for issues related to workers' compensation and general liability. This role requires excellent organizational skills, thorough knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

DUTIES:
Safety Coordination: Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
Lead safety training sessions for employees, ensuring they are informed about safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and ensure that safety procedures are consistently followed.

Additional Responsibilities: Stay up-to-date on changes in workers' compensation laws, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
Generate reports on safety performance, workers' compensation claims, and general liability claims for senior management review.
Assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to reduce workplace injuries and accidents.
Perform other duties as assigned by management related to safety, workers' compensation, or general liability matters.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
Certification in Occupational Safety &Health (e.g., Certified Safety Professional) is a plus.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in safety coordination, workers' compensation handling, general liability management, and OSHA compliance.
Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, general liability insurance, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with safety management software or workers' compensation claim systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Certificates & Licenses: Valid Drivers License (job may require traveling between stores)

**Salary range for this position is 55 - 63k annually***
