JOB DESCRIPTION

Waialae Senior Living is looking for an energetic and creative Activities Aide to work with our senior residents in our care home. In this role, you will be responsible for designing activities that are easily accessible by our residents. These activities should encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and enhance our residents' daily routines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement daily activities for our residents
• Prepare materials as needed for the activities planned
• Set up and clean up the activity area when necessary
• Engage the residents to encourage them to participate
• Monitor residents during the activities to ensure their safety and health REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  
  Required:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two-step TB test clearance
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Fieldprint background check (Criminal, adult protective services, and child abuse and neglect)
  • Current physical of health Preferred:
    • Prior experience with senior patients a plus
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills JOB TYPE: Part-time
      
      HOURS: 9 AM - 2 PM, at least 3 days a week
      
      PAY: Starting at $15 per hour
