Job Description:

• Participates in the project planning process with team members, sometimes with clients and business analysts.

• Assists in the development of work plan timelines. Manage workflows to meet sub-project timeframes.
  
• Participate in the identification of system requirements.
  
  
  
• Complies with architecture processes, principles, policies and standards.
  
  • 
    
  • Complies with quality standards and procedures.
    
  • Designs components for small solutions.
    
  • Develop technical specifications for applications. Makes recommendations for the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
    
    
    
  • Extract data from multiple sources. May design and implement data transformations. May load transformed data into information management system.
    
    • 
      
    • Utilizes current data guidelines.
      
    • Utilizes middleware tools for designing and developing solutions when required.
      
    • Develops or modifies application components using disciplined software development processes.
      
      
      
    • Conducts unit testing to ensure application meets specifications. Participates in integration testing.
      
      • 
        
      • Documents new or modified components and testing activities/results.
        
        
        
      • Provides ongoing maintenance of applications.
        
        • 
          
        • May analyze existing applications to identify and document opportunities for improvements.
          
        • Makes components production ready by moving them to libraries, completing forms, following procedures, completing version control documents, etc.
          
        • Assists in providing Tier II (application) support.
          
          
          
        • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
