success.Job Purpose:As an Outside Sales Representative, you will
play a crucial role in driving our business growth by identifying
and cultivating new sales opportunities, building, and maintaining
strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service to
our customers.
We are looking for someone with some or all of the following:
- 3+ years of experience with fluid power, hydraulics, or
industrial supplies
- 2+ years of experience in industrial sales
- Proven ability with a documented personal sales process
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and
PowerPoint
- Mechanical, electrical, and programmable controllers experience
is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think
creatively to meet customer needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under
pressure
- Consultative Sales Skills Training
- Positive and collaborative attitude with a professional work
ethic
- Desire to help teammates succeed and willingness to assist
where needed
Responsibilities for the Outside Sales Representative:
- Build and maintain meaningful business relationships with
decision makers and necessary influencers
- Interact daily with customer prospects through various
communication channels (i.e., email, phone, and in person)
- Grow sales while simultaneously enhancing margin by increasing
market diversity.
- Develop and maintain a detailed database of customer system
requirements.
- Working with clients you will develop a Road Map with a step by
step approach.
- Maintain a weekly report detailing both new and ongoing sales
opportunities and quotes.
