achieve a more sustainable future.The Fuels Construction Quality
Control Manager performs site quality control oversight of
contractors conducting minor construction, maintenance, and repair
projects for DoD fueling systems. He/she always maintains quality
control on the site. He/she documents all project activities to
ensure all project stakeholders remain informed throughout the
project field effort.The initial work under this position will
require long-term travel for work in Hawaii. Future opportunities
may include continued work in Hawaii, Asia, or the continental
U.S.Locations: Pearl Harbor, HI-RemoteKnowledge, Skills, and
Abilities:
- High School Diploma plus minimum 10+ years of DoD Fuels related
construction program management, including a minimum of 5 years of
DoD Fuels safety and Quality Control oversight experience.
- Ability to manage and lead multiple subcontractors and
employees.
- Work can be outside the continental United States. Must be able
to travel abroad for extended periods (6 months) to support field
activities at worldwide locations if needed.
- Complete daily/weekly field reports with photos using Microsoft
Office.
- OSHA 30-hour training and HAZWOPER required.
- Certified in Red Cross First Aid/CPR.
- Prefer candidate is familiar with USACE EM 385-1-1.
- Direct experience in supporting excavation, heavy equipment
inspection, scaffolding, electrical safety, confined space entry
rescue, and demolition are desired.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Able to meet time sensitive deadlines and carry out multiple
priorities simultaneously.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.Expected Outcomes:
- Evaluate personnel actions and shutdown field activities when
quality is compromised in accordance with approved plans.
- Conduct/facilitate daily meetings with field team and
facilities personnel as needed.
- Responsible for the on-site quality control program
implementation and control activities.
- Act as liaison with the project manager, owner, regulatory
agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on quality
related matters as required.
- Assist with material and project plans submittals process.
Ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications.
- Record quality control activities on daily logbooks. Provide
detailed photographic documentation of work performed, and
draft/submit daily activity reports.We fully invest in our people:
