Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer - ( 25000176 )DescriptionWater/Wastewater Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; Honolulu, HI): Execute work involving conventional types of civil and utility engineering principles and other related activities for new and existing water, recycled water, wastewater, and conveyance projects. Develop and prepare reports, planning studies, specifications, detailed design drawings, and construction submittal reviews calculations, models and other technical deliverables for treatment, conveyance, and infrastructure related projects. Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make adaptations and modifications to projects. Support project and task teams in planning and/or designing a major engineering project and coordinate special planning and engineering studies. Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams including other disciplines (drafters, designers, and other engineers). Delegate and oversee the work of technical staff and other engineers. Provide consultation in specialized areas (water/wastewater treatment), make decisions, and solve problems. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and for professional meetings. Communicate effectively and coordinate with clients on projects during planning, design, and construction. Participate in project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist with business development pursuits. Perform local travel and off-site field visits to client treatment plants. Provide support and Engineering Services During Construction. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). The salary range is $101,754 - $119,800 per year.QualificationsRequirements:

• Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
• Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Preparing water and wastewater infrastructure designs, planning, and data analysis including water distribution systems and sewer systems hydraulics using InfoWater; Hydraulic design of pumping systems using AFT Fathom; Wastewater treatment process design, process evaluations, and hydraulic modeling; and Design and planning of infrastructure and treatment facilities using AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
• Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) license.Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week, depending on business need.
