Job Description:
A company is looking for a Collector, Associate to manage
customer accounts and ensure timely billing and collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately bill customer accounts and ensure timely remittance
Follow up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow
Handle customer collection calls and resolve patient billing
complaints
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance coding
(HCPC/ICD-9)
Experience with ERP systems for documenting activities
Ability to prepare and review claims for submission to various
insurances
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and
Outlook
Ability to evaluate and secure necessary medical justifications for
claims
