Job Description:
A company is looking for Clinical Risk Adjustment Medical Coders
to join their remote team.
Key Responsibilities
Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses and
procedures for insurance claims
Analyze and review medical records to verify the completeness and
accuracy of coding information
Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve any
coding-related issues or discrepancies
Required Qualifications
Must have a valid Medical Coder certification from AHIMA or
AAPC
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in Risk adjustment/HCC coding
Expert knowledge of Medicare severity adjustment processes and
tools
1+ years of experience working with Risk Adjustment in Medicare
Advantage, Medicaid, and/or ACA
Must be able to identify risk adjustment codes/models
