Job Description:

A company is looking for a Critical Care/Intensivist Medical Provider for a remote Medical Expert Reviewer position.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct peer reviews for quality management in VA medical facilities
Access and review medical records using the VA EMR system
Submit written reviews within specified timeframes after accepting cases

Required Qualifications

Active medical license in any state
20 hours of direct patient care per month
Board certification in the requested specialty
National Provider Identifier (NPI) number required
5 years of experience in the appropriate specialty post-training (MD/DO)
